We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Operations Supervisor is an active member of the conversion/changeover crew involved in conversion responsibilities and efficient changeovers between events. Duties require converting the facility to concerts, basketball games, banquets, meetings and family shows in addition to assisting with any event-oriented preparation/setup for shows or sporting events to run safely and efficiently.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Converting the facility to concerts, basketball games, banquets, meetings and family showsAssisting with any event-oriented preparation/setup for shows or sporting events to run safely and efficientlySetup and take down of basketball courts, staging, risers, and other event-related itemsAssist with daily maintenance and upkeep of department equipment such as seating risers, basketball floor and hoops, dressing room furniture, etc.Assist during event responding to radio requests for set up, removal, and/or repair of risers and dept. equipmentProvide courteous and friendly service to all guests and to provide answers and directions as needed Have general knowledge regarding program options and facility eventsBe responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate manager to resolveResponsible for working with a team to convert and prepare the facility for eventsComplete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by managementExemplify the facility's policies and procedures to all staff and guestsAll other duties as assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours as needed)Consistent and regular attendance is mandatoryKnowledge of safe and effective use of appropriate cleaning productsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsMust be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders and fellow Team MembersMust work well with othersMust take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facilityCommitment to the safety and well-being of othersWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 40 poundsMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoorsFacility has intermittent noiseWill be required to operate a computer
