About the Role

Mother Parkers is seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Supervisor to support production operations within our Fort Worth manufacturing facility.

This role is responsible for leading production teams across safety, quality, cost, delivery, people, and environmental performance while driving operational execution, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational performance, supporting food safety and quality compliance, and ensuring efficient day-to-day manufacturing operations within a high-volume food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead production activities through advanced manufacturing systems, processing, quality, and maintenance operations.
• Set operational objectives in collaboration with production leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Communicate key responsibilities and operational priorities to support team performance and operational excellence.
• Drive accountability across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People, and Environment (SQCDPE) performance metrics.

Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute strategic and operational production plans while monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Develop departmental goals and support weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational updates.
• Coordinate production activities to optimize utilization of labor, equipment, materials, and operational resources.
• Ensure production KPI targets and schedules are achieved consistently.
• Support standard work practices and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and eliminate waste.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all food safety, GMP, SQF, occupational health & safety, and environmental requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections and participate in accident investigations and Joint Health & Safety activities.
• Maintain operational readiness for regulatory, customer, and corporate audits.
• Ensure proper documentation, quality checks, and compliance reporting are completed accurately and on time.
• Support troubleshooting of quality and operational issues to minimize downtime and ensure product integrity.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop frontline production teams.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Support employee training, development, and succession planning initiatives.
• Foster strong employee relations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Inspire teams to deliver operational plans while maintaining a collaborative and accountable work environment.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• 5–7+ years of leadership experience within:
• consumer packaged goods
• food manufacturing
• production operations
• manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Occupational Health & Safety
• Lean Manufacturing
• Quality Assurance
• Food Safety & GMP environments
• Experience operating within fast-paced manufacturing environments with shifting operational priorities.

Technical & Leadership Skills

• Strong project management and operational planning capability.
• Experience working with manufacturing systems including ERP, CMMS, and MES platforms.
• Strong computer proficiency including Excel, reporting systems, and operational software.
• Excellent communication and leadership capability.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate with urgency and sound decision-making.
• Flexible schedule availability as operational needs require.
