First Rescue Ambulance is seeking an Experienced Ambulance Operations Manager. Must have at least 3 years of experience at the management level of an ambulance company.Responsibilities:The Operations Manager will assist the Chief Operating Officer and Dispatch Manager to ensure efficiency and growth by maintaining current operations and supporting the growth of the company in both equipment and personnel.Responsible for ensuring the efficiency and compliance of company policies and procedures for all field staff and dispatchersAssures that all assigned personnel report to duty on time, tracks attendance and follows up on attendance issuesDirect oversight of employees in accordance with the Company's Policies and Procedures.Assists field providers in performance of their duties.Reviews ePCR reports on a daily basis, assures that QA corrections are completed by field staff in a timely mannerReviews incident reports and follows through with investigation and closure of incidentOversees the work of Equipment Officers to ensure compliance of vehicles, maintenance and company imageResponds to scenes when requested, gathers information and leads investigations into accidents, injuries, and other incidentsPromotes a safe work environment for all employeesEnsures compliance of First Rescue Ambulance Policies and Procedures including uniform, grooming, attendance, etc.Assists with dispatching duties when neededOversees the Field Training Officer ProgramEnsures all EMT's obtain DOT permitting in a timely mannerAssist in the recruitment of field staffAssists with orientation of new hire EMT's and other field staffAssists in completion of field schedule to include filling open shifts, finding coverage if an employee calls off, and assisting in determining the need for additional shifts on the scheduleSchedules vehicle inspections and ensures vehicles are ready for inspectionOther duties as assignedBenefits:Salaried PositionHealth Insurance, Dental and Vision plansDirect Deposit401kPaid Sick LeaveJury Duty PayCPR training provided by companyMuch more!Experience & Requirements:At least 2 years in ambulance supervision or ambulance management, preferably in Los Angeles CountyMust be currently certified as an EMT or paramedic (preferred but negotiable)CPR Certification (Healthcare Provider)Medical Examiners CertificateAmbulance Drivers LicenseClean driving record with 2 years of commercial driving experienceGood computer skillsCan manage time and multi-taskKnowledge of utilizing performance reports to improve efficiency, utilization and profitabilityPreferred:Bachelors DegreeRisk and Safety Management experienceFleet Management Experience (including licensing with all agencies)Scheduling Experience911 EMS Experience
