Job Description:

The Workforce Operations Site Coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations and

registration (OR) function at the Fauquier Campus Workforce Solutions office. In addition to

managing the OR function, they will collaborate with college staff to schedule rooms for Workforce

classes. This position is the primary and first point of contact for potential and existing students seeking information about Workforce Solutions classes/programs at the Fauquier Campus requiring the candidate to develop a strong working knowledge of the programs. The coordinator will also serve as the main contact with other departments on campus and will work closely with the Middletown Operations Supervisor.

Work Schedule

Monday through Thursday: 8am-5pm and Fridays 4 hour rotating schedule (either 8am-noon

or noon-4pm). This position offers 1 day per week of telework, according to organizational procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this position is $59,754.00-$82,712.00. The position is classified staff and as such is eligible for the benefits package offered by the Commonwealth of Virginia for state agencies. For more information, please visit www.dhrm.virginia.gov.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven subject matter knowledge, which may be evidenced by training, experience, and/or credentials.
  • Demonstrated front-facing customer service experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated process management skills/experience.
  • Evidence of clear communication while working with the public in writing (emails), on the phone or in person.
  • Able to work with all departments across the college including Advising, AVPs, B&G, students and parents.

Additional Considerations:

  • Evidence of database experience and/or working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool is preferred.
  • Customer Service in an in-person Higher Education office environment preferred.
  • Evidence of experience performing financial transactions preferred.
