Position: Operations Set-up Assistant Reports to: Director of Operations Position type: Non-Exempt, Part-Time Position Summary: Operations Set-up Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring that various spaces on campus are set, clean, and ready for a variety of events at FBC. Fulfilling duties with a heart to inspire people to follow Jesus. QUALITIES + QUALIFICATIONS Uphold Biblical priorities through a growing personal relationship with Jesus. Become an active member of FB Concord or be an active member of a local like-minded bible teaching church Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church. Encompass the qualities and characteristics of Concord staff members as outlined in our Staff Values. Work experience with set-up and tear down in a large church or event hosting company Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Able to carry, lift, push, and pull up to 40+ lbs on a regular basis RESPONSIBILITIES Complete daily and weekly schedule of set-up, tear down, and reorganization of various campus spaces for events and ministries Maintain an organized approach to equipment and supplies used for set-ups Proactively monitor event and public spaces to ensure they are clean, presentable, and fully ready for upcoming ministry events. Promptly communicate larger maintenance or cleaning concerns to the Director of Operations or the appropriate operations personnel. Other duties as assigned or required by Director of Operations WORKING CONDITIONS Typically, a 5-day work week, with some irregular shift driven hours, in an office and outside environment. Work may include exposure to temperature extremes, noise, dust, and other conditions which may cause discomfort. Work includes lengthy periods of standing, bending, lifting, or carrying bulky and heavy items. Normal working hours may vary, and team members may be asked to work additional shifts to support set-ups for unplanned events.
