Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Operations Research Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in operations research, mathematical modeling, and optimization techniques to design and implement solutions that enhance the efficiency and performance of our supply chain software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, and product managers, to deliver impactful solutions that drive value for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Education: Masters in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in operations research, optimization, or a related role, preferably within the supply chain or logistics domain.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in mathematical modeling and optimization techniques (e.g., linear programming, integer programming, stochastic modeling).
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
Experience with optimization solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX) and simulation tools.
Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to analyze complex systems and datasets.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
