Job Description:
The operations production lead is responsible for overseeing daily production of the specified area, including supervising operators, optimizing the flow of product, and properly addressing production issues as they arise.- Key responsibilities:
- Building familiarity with the SOPs of machines in order to assist with training and instruction to operators.
- Upholding a standard of quality in the production process
- Effectively communicating and leading operators with the daily production plan
- Receive new hires, providing them with the proper gear and training
- Driving production and eliminating bottlenecks where possible
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations set in place and following the established standard operating procedures
- Work closely with the engineering, FA and QA teams to streamline production, mitigate issues and minimize downtime
