Summary:

The Operations Procedure Specialist develops and updates policies, procedures, and documentation for Teachers retail operations. The Specialist ensures compliance with regulatory changes, collaborates with various teams, and improves operational efficiency while mitigating risk.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum eight years' directly related work experience required
  • Minimum three years experience researching, analyzing, writing and reviewing content required
  • Knowledge of branch and back office operations, policy and procedures, practices, protocols, systems, and financial compliance laws and regulations required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge of DNA core systems, Velocity, CRM Salesforce
  • Strong analytical skills, organized, problem-solving, planning, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills at a professional business level
  • Solid PowerPoint presentation and public speaking skills
  • Excellent ability to listen, record, and prioritize
  • Experience in creating documentation for audiences with different levels of technical skill
  • Ability to work independently while supporting an overall team effort

Job Responsibilities:

  • Writes, edits, and updates operational procedures, technical guides, and resources for retail operations, contact centers, and back-office teams
  • Collaborate with managers and program teams to ensure all documentation meets quality, clarity, and industry standards
  • Creates user-friendly documentation, including charts, graphs, and tables to enhance clarity and understanding
  • Standardizes content across various platforms and updates KnowledgeBase with accurate procedures
  • Develops and implements solutions to streamline processes and address operational gaps
  • Communicates policy changes through presentations, workshops, and leader connects
  • Manages and maintains Risk Operations internal intranet page and ticket system
  • Supports the creation of educational resources and job aids for new and existing procedures
  • Assists with departmental projects and helps implement new procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $28.50 - $34.00 per hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
