Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all maintenance equipment, tractors, utility vehicles, and small engines.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, adjustments, and seasonal servicing.
- Diagnose and repair gasoline, diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Sharpen, adjust, and maintain mower blades and cutting units.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform field repairs as needed.
- Maintain service records, parts inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant.
- Train and assist staff with proper equipment operation and safety practices.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive, diesel, agricultural, turf, landscape, or equipment repair.
- Valid driver's license.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred
- High School Diploma
- Experience with Toro, John Deere, Bobcat, Stihl, Kubota, Club Car, or similar equipment.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
