CAM2 International, LLCLocation: Vicksburg, MississippiJob Type: Full-TimeDepartment: OperationsSchedule: Day Shift; additional hours as operational needs requirePosition SummaryCAM2 International is seeking an experienced Asst Operations Manager to help lead and oversee daily operations at our Vicksburg, Mississippi facility.The Asst Operations Manager is responsible for helping to ensure the facility operates safely, efficiently, and productively while meeting quality, production, staffing, and customer expectations. This position provides hands-on leadership to the operations team and works closely with plant leadership, maintenance, warehouse, quality, safety, transportation, and other departments to keep operations running smoothly.The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, solving problems, holding employees accountable, and driving continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesHelp direct and oversee daily facility operations, including production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and related operational activities.Help ensure production schedules and operational goals are completed safely, accurately, and on time.Help lead, coach, develop, and hold supervisors and employees accountable for performance, attendance, safety, quality, and productivity.Help monitor staffing levels and coordinate manpower based on production and operational needs.Help promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees follow Company safety policies, procedures, and required PPE practices.Identify operational problems, production delays, equipment concerns, and workflow issues and take appropriate corrective action.Work closely with Maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure operational equipment is properly maintained.Monitor productivity, efficiency, waste, downtime, and other key operational performance indicators.Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflow, labor utilization, efficiency, and cost control.Ensure products are manufactured, handled, stored, and shipped in accordance with Company quality standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Ensure employees receive proper training and understand job expectations and procedures.Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, corrective action, and employee development.Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations, attendance, performance, and policy matters.Communicate operational priorities, concerns, and results to leadership.Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues that may affect production, inventory, shipping, customer service, or facility performance.Ensure Company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed.Assist with inventory control and investigation of inventory discrepancies as needed.Support emergency response, incident investigation, and corrective action efforts.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsPrevious management or supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, warehouse, or industrial operations required.Strong leadership and employee-management skills Experience managing multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment
