ApplyDescriptionSUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Operations Manager - Florida will oversee service operations, manage field technicians, support installations, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence while also helping grow existing accounts through service expansion, equipment upgrades, and automation solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in commercial or heavy residential pool operations, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable interacting directly with clients and property teams.The position is based in Orlando, Florida, with travel throughout the state as needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Operations Leadership Lead and manage field technicians and service teams across Florida Coordinate service schedules, preventative maintenance programs, and emergency response Ensure high service quality standards and operational consistency Train and mentor technicians on water chemistry, equipment, and operational best practices Monitor operational performance and ensure service excellence

Client & Account Management Serve as the primary operational contact for key clients including hotels, resorts, multifamily properties, and commercial facilities Conduct property walkthroughs and operational reviews with engineering and facility teams Maintain strong relationships with property managers, engineers, and ownership groups Ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention

Account Growth & Upselling Identify opportunities to improve client aquatic operations through: Automation systems Chemical dosing systems Monitoring platforms Equipment upgrades Expanded service programs Work with leadership to develop proposals and service expansions Support the growth of existing accounts by delivering value and operational expertise

Project Management Oversee installation projects for monitoring systems, chemical controllers, and automation equipment Coordinate technicians, vendors, and property teams during installations Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and at high quality standards

Water Quality & Compliance Ensure proper water chemistry and operational standards across serviced facilities Support troubleshooting of water quality issues and equipment performance Ensure compliance with Florida aquatic health regulations

RequirementsQUALIFICATIONSStrong knowledge of pool equipment, water chemistry, and aquatic systemsStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to use technology and software systems with easeProficient in GSuite and MS Office as well as routing software and CRM systemsAbility to communicate fluently in both written and verbal English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!Must possess a valid driver's license that has been valid for at least the last 2 yearsMust be based in Orlando, Florida metroAbility to travel throughout Florida as needed

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for managing field technicians in the territory

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE5+ years experience in commercial (preferred) or heavy residential pool operationsExperience managing field technicians or service teamsExperience managing service routes, maintenance programs, or installationsExperience in client-facing roles or account managementExperience identifying upsell or service expansion opportunitiesCPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification or ability to certify within 30 days of hireExperience working with hospitality and multifamily properties preferredExperience presenting operational recommendations to clients
