Job Summary
 Pantheon Moving is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Operations Manager to drive efficiency and operational excellence across our moving services. In this role, you will streamline systems, maximize profitability, and ensure full compliance with all legal and safety regulations. You will lead from the front—actively working on moves as a lead mover and primary truck driver while managing daily field operations and overseeing team performance. We’re looking for a sharp, analytical leader with a strong grasp of business principles, a solid driving record, and a proven ability to lead a crew both in the office and on the job site. 


Responsibilities 

• Lead Moving Operations: Direct daily field operations, crew dispatching, and logistics to guarantee on-time service and smooth moves.

• Optimize Fleet & Warehouse: Oversee warehouse inventory, equipment maintenance, and vehicle logistics to minimize downtime and control overhead costs.

• Build Systems for Scale: Design and implement standardized moving procedures, safety guidelines, and job site workflows to boost profitability and operational efficiency.

• Drive Financial & Operational KPIs: Track crew performance, monitor project profitability, and analyze financial data to forecast operational budgets accurately.

• Ensure Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Enforce DOT compliance, local transport laws, safety protocols, and company policies to protect staff, cargo, and equipment.

• Set Strategic Growth Goals: Establish high-level operational targets to expand Pantheon Moving’s service capabilities and market presence in the region.

• Active Field Work: Serve as a lead mover on active jobs, physically assisting with loading, packing, unloading, and safely handling customer belongings.
  
  
• Vehicle Operation & Logistics: Operate moving trucks and transport vehicles as a primary driver, ensuring safe navigation, cargo securing, and adherence to driving safety standards.
  
  
• On-Site Team Leadership: Lead by example on-site, guiding crew members through proper lifting techniques, customer communication, and job site efficiency while working alongside them.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and comfort driving box trucks/moving vehicles.

• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, loading, and unloading on active jobs.

• Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset.

• Solid understanding of core business operations, budgeting, and financial principles.

•  3+ years of experience in operations management, crew supervision, or logistics.
