We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager who enjoys being at the center of it all-keeping offices running smoothly, teams supported, and processes on track. Location: Manchester, NH (with some travel to Concord & Portsmouth)
Schedule: Full‑time | Monday-Friday
Pay: $85,000 - $88,000 Yearly
Type: Direct Hire | On‑Site
Responsibilities:
Lead and support administrative teams including Facilities, Reception, Training, and Scanning
Ensure proper staffing coverage by supervising and reassigning non‑legal staff as needed
Manage office space, office moves, and file transfers for incoming and outgoing attorneys
Oversee electronic and paper file organization for active and inactive matters
Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and vendor services
Manage and negotiate vendor contracts and service agreements
Oversee budgets related to office operations, facilities, utilities, and events
Handle purchasing of office supplies, furniture, and equipment
Oversee copier, phone, mailroom, and scanning operations
Coordinate firm events, meetings, and hospitality needs
Lead the Events Committee and Safety Committee
Administer parking programs, time‑off requests, and timecard approvals
Work closely with staff, leadership, and management teams
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
Experience in an operations or management role with direct reports
Strong experience managing people, workflows, and administrative processes
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and follow‑up skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and contracts
Detail‑oriented, dependable, and professional demeanor
Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership
