Responsibilities:

Organizational Leadership:

• Contribute to the development and execution of the departments operational and growth strategies.
• Manages department spend on equipment, labor, materials to ensure the financial health of the department.
• Identify and implement innovative technologies and practices to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness.
• Ensure the department complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards, and develop and maintain risk management procedures.
• Develop and monitor departmental KPIs that are aligned with the objectives of the company.

Project Execution:

• Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize department performance and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain quality control and assurance processes to meet and exceed industry and company quality standards.
• Create, own, and continually improve processes to provide quality job execution.
• Build and develop an effective team to successfully estimate and execute projects that meet quality and safety standards.

People Development:

• Implement and cultivate a team environment that focuses on safety, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
• Promote and drive professional development and training efforts to improve overall business acumen and technical knowledge for the various jobs within the departments.
• Foster an environment that empowers employees to make positive decisions and lead their teams while maintaining accountability for actions and results.
• Drive effective communication through all levels of the department.

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, business management, or equivalent industry experience.
• 7+ years of managerial or leadership experience leading multi-functional teams.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated individual with passion for leadership, customer service, follow-through, and learning
• Ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations.
• Ability to self-prioritize, negotiate, and manage requests from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project and operational challenges effectively.
• Valid Drivers License
