An established and growing home healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its Polk County operation.
This leadership opportunity is ideal for a healthcare operations professional who enjoys building teams, driving business growth, and making a meaningful impact in the community.
The Operations Manager has full responsibility for the overall performance of the business, including financial results, team leadership, client satisfaction, and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Oversee the day-to-day operations of a growing home healthcare business
Maintain full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility
Drive revenue growth and manage expenses to achieve business goals
Monitor KPIs and utilize scorecards to improve performance and accountability
Develop and execute strategic initiatives that support operational success
Team Leadership
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, including:
Staffing professionals
Clinical educators
Scheduling personnel
Client service team members
Business development professionals
Participate in hiring, coaching, and performance management
Identify and develop future leaders within the organization
Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture
Community & Business Development
Build relationships with referral partners and community stakeholders
Participate in field visits with team members to support business growth and service quality
Maintain a visible presence within the local market
Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen community partnerships
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience
Preferred tenure of at least 3 years with previous employers
Proven experience leading and developing teams
Strong operational and financial management experience
Experience with hiring and employee development
Sales, service, or business development experience is a plus
Experience in home health, hospice, senior care, healthcare services, or related industries strongly preferred
