    Our client is a well-established food manufacturing company looking to add a skilled Operations Manager to their leadership team in a fully regulated production facility. The right candidate will have a proven track record in food processing operations, workforce leadership, and navigating compliance requirements across multiple regulatory frameworks.     Job Responsibilities -

    - Direct all aspects of daily plant operations, ensuring production targets are achieved in alignment with safety and quality expectations.

    - Build, manage, and mentor a team of production supervisors and floor staff.

    - Track and analyze operational metrics and lead efforts to address performance gaps.

    - Champion lean manufacturing and process improvement strategies.

    - Maintain and enforce compliance with food safety regulations and audit standards.

    - Serve as a primary point of coordination between production, quality assurance, procurement, and shipping/logistics.

    - Take ownership of departmental budgets and cost control initiatives,.

    - Utilize ERP platforms and inventory management tools to support operational decision-making.



    Job Requirements -

    - Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

    - At least 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment.

    - At least 3 years in a leadership capacity overseeing production teams or plant operations.

    - Solid understanding of food safety compliance standards and regulations.

    - Hands-on experience with ERP systems and a data-driven approach to performance management and KPI reporting.

    - Ability to collaborate effectively across departments, including quality, maintenance, production, and supply chain functions.

    - Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to operate strategically while staying connected to floor-level operations.

    - Professional certifications in HACCP, Six Sigma, SQF, or Lean Manufacturing are a plus.
