A growing Jacksonville CPA firm is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to make its processes, systems, and day-to-day operations work better. You'll partner with firm leadership and teams across tax, accounting, advisory, and administration to turn operational challenges into practical solutions.

What you'll do
- Evaluate workflows, improve handoffs, and reduce duplicate work across departments.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures, process maps, checklists, and internal controls.
- Lead operational improvement and AI initiatives from assessment through implementation, training, and follow-up.
- Manage professional service vendors, including technology, telecommunications, facilities, insurance, and benefits providers. Coordinate selection, renewals, service reviews, and issue resolution.
- Lead business software implementations and integrations, including requirements gathering, testing, data migration coordination, training, and adoption.
- Serve as an internal resource for Firm360 and other workflow, document management, communication, and productivity systems.
- Track hardware, software, subscriptions, user access, vendors, renewal dates, and key contract terms.
- Develop useful metrics and dashboards for capacity, turnaround times, bottlenecks, vendor performance, and project progress.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding across technology, equipment, training, and documentation.
- Safeguard confidential employee, financial, firm, and client information.
What you bring
- At least 5 years of experience in business operations, professional services administration, project management, systems implementation, or a related field.
- A track record of developing SOPs and improving workflows across teams.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, renewals, and service expectations.
- Experience implementing business software and helping employees use it effectively.
- Strong project management, business writing, communication, and training skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and cloud-based business applications.
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A bachelor's degree in business, operations, information systems, or a related field is preferred. Experience in a CPA firm or another professional services setting is also preferred. Familiarity with Firm360, QuickBooks, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, or workflow automation tools is a plus.
