Pride Health is seeking an Operations Manager - Central Sterile Processing to join the team at in Millbourne, PA 19082. This is a 13-week contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

 

Job Details:

  • Location: Millbourne, PA 19082
  • Job Type: Travel/Local contract
  • Schedule: Day Shift: 5X8/ 40 Hours/ week
  • Contract Length: 13 Week/s
  • Local Pay: $50 - $55/ hour
  • Travel Gross Pay: $2300 - $2440/Week

Job Summary:

  • The Operations Manager will oversee Central Processing operations, including decontamination, instrument and set assembly, sterilization, and case cart picking. This role will lead supervisors and CPD technicians while ensuring quality, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and standardization across the department. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily sterile processing operations and departmental performance.
  • Develop and implement departmental goals, standards, and operational strategies.
  • Monitor quality assurance, safety, infection control, environmental, and regulatory compliance programs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and sterile processing technicians.
  • Manage staffing, assignments, productivity, and workflow across three shifts.
  • Develop and maintain orientation, training, and competency programs.
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers and clinical departments.
  • Conduct service rounds and analyze customer feedback to improve service quality.
  • Track performance metrics and create reports for CPD leadership.
  • Lead process improvement, process mapping, data management, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Optimize the use of SPM Microsystems and related technology.
  • Promote effective use of Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive management experience in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Strong Sterile Processing/Central Processing management experience.
  • Experience with SPM Microsystems or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a labor-management partnership environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and process improvement skills.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • CRCST certification through HSPA required upon hire.  

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader) preferred.
  • Certified Instrument Specialist preferred.
  • Experience with quality assurance, infection control, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance.
