Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in Butner, NC, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking an Operations Manager. HGC is the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Manage shipping and production employees
- Establish a shipping, receiving, and production schedule daily
- Establish inbound/outbound logistics daily
- Coordinate with the Corporate purchasing team for material planning
- Direct supervision of employees
- Additional duties may be required
Qualifications:
- The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision and provide exceptional leadership. Basic forklift knowledge is required.
- Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
- Experience with cycle counting is preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- or comparable systems
- Excellent communication skills
- An associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related field or operations management is preferred
