The Operations Manager oversees the contractor's labor force and deploys resources-tools, materials, and parts-to ensure all contract requirements for comprehensive facility support (CFS) are met. This role manages day-to-day O&M activities for large facilities, coordinating staff and resources to ensure efficient, safe, and quality service delivery.
- Resource and Labor Management:
- Direct, schedule, and dispatch staff and resources to meet contract requirements.
- Authorize use of materials, manpower, and equipment.
- Service Delivery Oversight:
- Ensure contract and task order compliance through active supervision and reporting.
- Identify and address operational challenges proactively.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Interface with client representatives to ensure consistent and responsive service.
- Implement best practices and organizational improvements.
- Working Conditions:
- Mix of office and field work; may require overtime or emergency response.
- Physical Requirements: Able to move around large facilities as needed.
