Role Summary
The Operations Manager will serve as the onsite operational lead for the Atlanta ATN Pilot Project, overseeing day-to-day operational delivery from construction through pilot revenue service. The role will coordinate with contractors during construction, lead field commissioning and testing activities, and establish the operations team for pilot launch.
Required Skills / Certifications
- Strong background in field operations, construction management, or transit operations. Experience in rail, BRT, airport operations, or complex transportation systems preferred.
- Must be a local Atlanta-area candidate and available onsite throughout construction, testing, and pilot phases.
- Experience managing operational KPIs and performance reporting.
- Experience managing hourly, part-time, or intern-level staff.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with commissioning, field integration, system troubleshooting, and incident management preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- PE or PMP certification highly desired.
- Experience in the Atlanta transit market or similar operating environments.
