    About the Role

    We're hiring an Operations Manager to lead and manage all aspects of operations, sales, and safety for our Akron team. This role is responsible for developing people, improving performance, and helping drive the continued growth and success of the operation.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead daily operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, service, and profitability
    • Recruit, develop, coach, and support a high-performing team
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
    • Monitor service levels and remove barriers to performance
    • Develop plans for business growth and operational success
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and employee engagement
    • Establish and achieve financial and operational goals
    • Prepare reports, business updates, and operational reviews
    • Oversee payroll accuracy, timekeeping, and employee scheduling
    • Manage warehouse operations, inventory levels, and receiving activities
    • Partner with purchasing, drivers, and warehouse teams to support efficient operations
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, ADA, and company safety standards

    What You Bring

    • Five years or more of operations, warehouse, logistics, or management experience preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
    • Strong leadership and team development skills
    • Extensive knowledge of operations and sales management
    • Ability to use operational and financial data to make informed business decisions
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software platforms
    • NetSuite experience preferred
    • Passion for building teams and developing people
