Pay Range: $25-35/hr, W 2 after hour work as well nights and weekends. Must be flexible to work various shifts.
Responsibilities:
Assist in performing basic operations and maintenance (O&M) service or repair work in specialized skill areas such as mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulics/pneumatics, millwright, welding, plumbing, carpentry, painting, locksmith, or machine servicing.
Select and lay out required materials per work orders or verbal instructions.
May assist with requisitioning new supplies and equipment.
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
Perform other duties as required.
Painting and preparation of areas throughout the facility.
Requirements:
Participation in a technical/apprenticeship program or equivalent and a minimum of two years of hands-on maintenance experience.
Basic knowledge of the fundamentals of a trade, sufficient to deal with basic service and repairs.
Ability to work from drawings or verbal instructions.
Physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
May be required to use a variety of hand and power tools or forklift.
May be required to possess a valid driver’s license.
