    Description

    The Operations & Engineering Coordinator provides support for the Operations and Engineering department and personnel in the form of administrative and organizational duties.

    Essential Functions

    ·         Point of contact for member related day-to-day activities

    ·         Communicator for engineering department

    ·         Secretarial and administrative support for the department

    ·         Run reports and update Operations visual management

    ·         Ensure all member work/service orders are moving through the system and communicate with members

    ·         Create and close all non-billing service orders

    ·         Compile information needed for property damage/accident claims, working with Accounting & Finance to billing

    ·         Performs dispatch duties for multiple outages and major storms

    ·         Assist in coordination of Line Crews, Staking, and Meterman scheduling

    ·         Maintain easements and file with each county on a quarterly basis

    ·         Assist in coordination yearly safety meeting schedule with IEC and Hoosier Energy

    ·         Participates in relevant safety and training meetings

    ·         Submit locate requests via Indiana 811

    ·         Coordinate all new hire documentation and notifications for Operations Department

    ·         After hours CRC call coverage for Operations Department

    ·         Responsible for documentation to assist the safety committee

    ·         Maintain and track CDL license list and schedule DOT physicals 

    EXPERIENCE

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an equivalent of the following education and/or experience.

    ·         2 years related experience and/or training

    ·          Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

    ·         Utility industry experience preferred

    ·         Knowledge in NISC preferred
