Position Overview

ITSC is seeking an Operations Engineer to provide journeyman-level operational engineering support to FORGE facilities and computer hardware at Missile Warning operational sites. This role supports day-to-day operations integration activities and ensures infrastructure, systems, and supporting technologies remain aligned with mission requirements.

The Operations Engineer must be familiar with the technologies and technical programs that interface with Missile Warning systems and work closely with engineering, integration, and operations teams to support sustained mission readiness.

Impact of the Role

The Operations Engineer supports continuous mission readiness by ensuring FORGE facilities and operational systems remain properly integrated and functional. This role contributes to system availability, infrastructure reliability, and effective coordination between operations and engineering teams at the operational site level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational engineering support for FORGE facilities and computer hardware at operational sites
  • Support integration and sustainment of infrastructure supporting Missile Warning operations
  • Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination of operational systems
  • Coordinate with engineering and integration teams to resolve operational issues
  • Support site readiness activities and infrastructure alignment with mission needs
  • Maintain awareness of technical programs interfacing with Missile Warning systems
  • Participate in operational reviews, working groups, and coordination meetings as required

Compensation

$150,000.00 - $190,000.00

Salary is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and contract requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience supporting DoD, Missile Warning, or space system engineering efforts

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline

  • Demonstrated experience supporting systems engineering activities

  • Ability to work collaboratively within IPT and enterprise environments

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
