    The Beacom School of Business at The University of South Dakota is a vibrant, internationally accredited business school that has served students since 1927. It is the State's flagship business school and a regional leader with consistently high national rankings.

    We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and customer service-focused individual to provide support to the Prairie Family Business Association (PFBA), a Beacom School of Business outreach center. PFBA helps family businesses thrive through generations by providing a resource network for family business success.

    Main responsibilities include:

    • Provide excellent customer service to PFBA members, sponsors, advisors, program participants, and partners
    • Manage membership, sponsorship, and program invoicing, collections, and payment processing
    • Complete financial transactions and maintain accurate records in Banner Finance
    • Administer vendor contracts, purchasing processes, reimbursements, and vendor payments
    • Maintain accurate member, sponsor, and participant information in HubSpot CRM
    • Coordinate program and event registrations and assist participants with registration, payment, travel, and logistical questions
    • Provide executive assistant support to the Executive Director, including scheduling, meeting preparation, travel coordination, and follow-up
    • Provide administrative support to the entire PFBA team
    • Coordinate day-to-day office operations and maintain organized electronic and physical records
    • Follow University and Board of Regents policies and procedures related to financial, purchasing, contracting, and administrative activities
    • Manage multiple competing priorities and ensure deadlines and follow-up activities are completed

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Strong customer service focus with excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to prioritize and problem solve.
    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
    • Aptitude for or experience in data entry, analysis, and reporting.
    • Able to work independently with little direct supervision.
    • Limited flexible hours and locations may be required for events.
    • Experience using Banner, WordPress, and HubSpot (CRM) software
    • Office management experience.

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in business, communications, or related field.
    • The preferred applicant will have experience in customer service, communications, or office management.
