Operations Coordinator

On-Site | Salt Lake City Barco Rent-A-Truck | Full Time

Barco Rent-A-Truck is a leader in the 4×4 truck rental industry with over 40 years of experience and continued nationwide growth. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team.

Position Objective

The Operations Coordinator provides support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Operations Executive Assistant. This is not just a traditional administrative or clerical role; it is a dynamic position that will closely monitor logistics and operational data to drive growth and achieve company wide initiatives and goals.

You will help manage cross-departmental workflows, track project milestones, and assist in overseeing internal marketing initiatives and interactions with third-party collections/legal agencies. The ideal candidate is a master of follow-through, a natural problem solver, and someone who thrives on turning operational chaos into streamlined efficiency.

 

What You'll Do

  • Maintain day-to-day reporting; track project progress, monitor deadlines, and support execution across assigned initiatives
  • and tracking progress toward company goals
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Assistant to manage and coordinate priorities
  • Maintain and organize operations-related files, records, and databases
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders as necessary, maintaining a level of professionalism, answering questions and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members
  • Work with operations managers on day-to-day coordination of projects and job work flows
  • Handle confidential and/or sensitive information with discretion
