Operations Coordinator

Location: Apopka, FL
Pay: $23.00 $25.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Opportunity: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

Bear Staffing is seeking an organized and dependable Operations Coordinator to support daily operations at a busy branch in Apopka, FL. This position works closely with branch management, yard teams, drivers, vendors, and customers to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has strong administrative and organizational skills, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and can manage multiple priorities including scheduling, service requests, inventory, purchase orders, and customer communication.

Experience supporting a construction, manufacturing, warehouse, equipment rental, logistics, or yard environment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily yard activities with operations staff and drivers.

  • Schedule and track deliveries, pickups, and equipment set-ups.

  • Communicate with customers regarding upcoming deliveries and pickups.

  • Manage service requests from start to finish and ensure timely follow-up.

  • Maintain and update daily scheduling boards in real time.

  • Manage inventory and stock check-in/check-out and confirm required dates.

  • Assist with stock assignments between branches.

  • Create, issue, and track vendor purchase orders.

  • Assist with monitoring purchasing and expenses related to yard and equipment maintenance.

  • Maintain accurate records and operational documentation.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and company operating systems, including NAV.

  • Work closely with branch management and team members to resolve scheduling or operational issues.

  • Support branch safety procedures, reporting, and other safety-related activities.

  • Complete additional administrative and operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • At least 1 year of administrative, operations, scheduling, or similar experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Comfortable working in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, drivers, vendors, and internal teams.

  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, equipment rental, or a similar environment is a plus.

  • Experience with NAV or similar ERP/operations software is a plus.

  • Must be willing to wear required PPE and work around an active yard environment where noise levels may be elevated.

Pay: $24.00 $25.00 per hour
