Operations Associate I
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking four detail-oriented Operations Associates for a hybrid opportunity in West Des Moines, Iowa. These positions are supporting increased year-end business volume and are ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
This role is primarily focused on back-office operations, case processing, data review, transaction support, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently across multiple systems while meeting accuracy and productivity expectations.

Schedule: Hybrid | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Duration: Contract through December 2026 with potential extension or conversion based on business needs and performance
Key Responsibilities
Process daily operational work associated with account maintenance, account transfers, asset movements, and new account setup activities
Review forms, documentation, and transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures
Process both routine and complex transactions in a timely and accurate manner
Manage cases and work queues while meeting productivity and quality expectations
Perform data entry and system updates across multiple internal platforms
Research and resolve processing exceptions, discrepancies, and account-related issues
Provide support related to various account types, including retirement and investment accounts
Document activities and maintain accurate records within internal systems
Communicate with representatives and stakeholders as needed to obtain missing information or resolve processing issues
Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other business applications daily
Participate in training initiatives, quality reviews, and special projects as assigned
Follow company policies, procedures, service level agreements, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of Microsoft Office experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry, transaction processing, administrative support, or back-office operations
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Preferred
Financial services, banking, mortgage, insurance, or operations experience
Experience working within queue-based or production-driven environments
Case management or transaction processing experience
Exposure to account maintenance, document review, or compliance-related processes
Experience managing multiple systems simultaneously
Training & Development
Successful candidates will participate in a structured onboarding and training program designed to build confidence and proficiency in the role. Training includes:
Initial hands-on training and process review
System navigation and workflow instruction
Ongoing coaching and quality feedback
Support from team leads, supervisors, and experienced team members
Regular one-on-one meetings and performance discussions
