Position Summary
East Mountain High School seeks a reliable and motivated work-study student to serve as a Student Operations Assistant supporting daily school operations and student services. This role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced educational environment while contributing to programs that directly benefit middle and high school students.
The position supports essential community services including meal programs, transportation coordination, educational field trips, facilities operations, inventory systems, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high standard of service.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Assist with coordination of student meals, including tracking counts and preparing distribution materials
Support transportation logistics for daily routes, extracurricular activities, and field trips
Assist with planning and preparation for field trips and school events
Help maintain inventory systems for supplies, equipment, and program materials
Support facilities operations, including organization of spaces and readiness for activities
Assist with processing paperwork related to purchases, reimbursements, and operational requests
Input and verify data using spreadsheets and school information systems
Troubleshoot minor technology or equipment issues
Assist with filing, scanning, shredding, and document organization
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Ability to maintain regular attendance during scheduled hours
