Overview
We are an established, growing professional services business seeking a Director of Operations & Technology to partner directly with the CEO and help drive the next stage of growth.
This is not a maintenance role.
This is a builder role.
The foundation is already in place. The right person will strengthen systems, improve execution, leverage technology and AI, and help create the operational infrastructure needed to support long-term growth.
The successful candidate will begin by owning operational execution and technology initiatives, with a clear path toward broader leadership responsibilities and eventual COO-level involvement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into reality, building scalable systems, leveraging technology, and creating operational excellence.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Operations & Execution
• Evaluate and improve workflows across the organization
• Identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions
• Build systems that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability
• Create, refine, and maintain SOPs, training materials, and documentation
• Lead operational projects from concept through implementation
• Ensure key initiatives are completed with urgency and follow-through
Technology, AI & Automation
• Evaluate current technology stack and identify opportunities for improvement
• Research, test, and implement AI tools that create leverage
• Improve automation throughout the organization
• Build operational visibility through dashboards, reporting, and metrics
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies that can improve performance
Leadership & Growth
• Partner directly with the CEO on strategic initiatives
• Help operationalize growth plans
• Improve onboarding, training, and accountability systems
• Support operational leadership across the organization
• Over time, take on increasing leadership responsibility as the business scales
