Operations Analyst (Employee Benefit Trust Disbursements)

Location: Pennington, NJ
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Potential Contract-to-Hire)
Pay Rate: $42/hr W2
Schedule: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days onsite/week; additional onsite days may be required during training)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process complex retirement and pension-related transactions, including disbursements, money movement, account maintenance, and participant updates.
  • Support reconciliation, settlement, tax reporting, trade processing, and transfer activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, payment issues, and operational exceptions.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and external clients to deliver timely and accurate service.
  • Assist with process improvements, operational controls, and training of less experienced team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong client management abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to provide solutions for complex operational issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Experience with Employee Benefit Trusts, pension administration, retirement services, or financial operations.
  • Background in transaction processing, reconciliation, settlements, payroll, benefits administration, or banking operations.
