Pay Rate: $30 - $32/hour (OT40)

Top Requirements:

• 2+ years of Operational Accounting experience or equivalent business operations experience.
• Experience with supplier onboarding, supplier maintenance, or vendor management processes.
• Strong analytical, research, and process documentation skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and manage escalations.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.

Plusses:

• Experience with Ariba and/or PeopleSoft.
• Background in Accounts Payable, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Supplier Management.
• Experience documenting procedures, training materials, and process improvements.
• Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or cleanup initiatives.

Job Summary:

This Operational Accountant 2 role supports Supplier Enablement and Ariba Operations by performing supplier setup, supplier maintenance, and onboarding activities. The position plays a critical role in supporting ongoing Ariba and PeopleSoft projects by handling a high volume of supplier-related requests and ensuring supplier data is accurate, compliant, and maintained within enterprise systems.

The consultant will work independently to support supplier onboarding, process improvement initiatives, system cleanup efforts, and escalated requests while partnering closely with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Sourcing, Contracts, and business stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a customer-service mindset are essential for success in this role.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Create new supplier records and maintain existing supplier information within Ariba and related systems.
• Perform end-to-end supplier setup and maintenance activities.
• Support supplier onboarding initiatives and ensure suppliers are successfully enabled for transacting in Ariba.
• Research and resolve complex supplier-related inquiries from internal business partners and external suppliers.
• Analyze operational risks and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Document procedures, workflows, and training materials to improve team effectiveness.
• Manage escalated supplier requests independently and prioritize work accordingly.
• Execute system cleanup initiatives, including supplier record maintenance and inactive location reviews.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Sourcing, Contracts, Enabling Capabilities teams, and business groups.
• Ensure supplier data accuracy and compliance with organizational standards and policies.
• Support project-related operational activities driven by ongoing PeopleSoft and Ariba initiatives.
