The Opportunity:
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be a key leader in our brand new fulfillment center leading a team to drive operational efficiency and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the warehouse operates at maximum efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal by managing, organizing, training, and providing direction for a team of warehouse employees
- Achieving all operational goals and service levels alongside the operations leadership team
- Finding creative solutions for day-to-day operational challenges
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment ensuring policies and procedures are followed
- Direct and manage team in a way that promotes equality, consistency, and the feeling of value from team members
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities of the warehouse including order fulfillment, quality assurance, inventory control, and logistics coordination
- Manage eCommerce order fulfillment while achieving established service levels
- Work directly with our Customer Support and Account Manager teams to ensure client deliverables are met
- Oversee dynamic and changing customer needs such as special packaging, kitting, and bundling projects
- Lead a highly productive and engaged team while removing obstacles to drive operational efficiencies
- Support new client onboarding and creative fulfillment processes
- May be required to perform other duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
What You'll Bring to the Team (Required Skills & Abilities):
- 5+ years experience leading an operations team in a warehouse environment
- Ability to learn new technologies and custom proprietary softwares quickly
- Ability to hire, coach, train, and manage a team of 10 to 50 employees
- An ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced changing environment
- Detail Oriented, Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
- Understanding of OSHA and regulatory compliance is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
