• Position Type: Contract
• Pay Rate: $65.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: MID - 12hr; 36hr Day/Night Rotation, 12-hour shifts, 7a or 7p start times. Every 3rd weekend as needed; every other holiday. Call: 1x per schedule.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a contract Operating Room Technologist position based in the Menino OR at a major Boston medical facility, supporting a 22-room surgical services department staffed 24/7. The technologist may float to the Moakley campus or other OR campuses if needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical scrub responsibilities across a broad range of specialty services including general, gynecology, GU, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine.
• Rotate across day and night shifts (36-hour DN rotation, 12-hour shifts with 7a or 7p start times).
• Work every 3rd weekend as needed and every other holiday.
• Fulfill call obligation: 1x per schedule.
• Float to Moakley campus or other OR campuses as needed.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.
• Maintain competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical services.

Education Requirements

• NBSTSA certification required no other certification is accepted.
• BLS certification required.

Required Experience

• 3 years of inpatient surgery experience required.
• Level 1 trauma experience required. Must have trauma experience.

Important Notes

• Talent who reside less than 50 miles from the facility will be placed at a local rate; the local rate is $10 less than the posted bill rate.
