Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a fast-paced surgical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the perioperative process, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative support, and post-operative monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients prior to surgery and prepare them for procedures
- Administer IV therapy and pre-operative medications
- Assist in surgical site verification, time-out, and universal protocols
- Monitor patients during surgery and respond to emergencies
- Provide education to patients and families regarding procedures and recovery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and condition
- Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and clinical standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1+ year of recent OR experience
- Experience in scrub and/or circulating roles
- BLS certification (within 30 days of start)
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
Schedule
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- On-call: Covered by dedicated team
Compensation & Benefits
Shift Differential: +$4.00/hr (nights & weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000
Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)
