    A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join its surgical services team. This opportunity is ideal for nursing professionals who are passionate about perioperative care, patient safety, and supporting a wide range of surgical procedures in a collaborative clinical environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare patients for surgical procedures through assessment and perioperative care planning

    • Verify patient information, procedure details, and surgical sites according to safety protocols

    • Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and intraoperative care activities

    • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes

    • Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment

    • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to coordinate patient care

    • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed

    • Support a variety of surgical specialties and procedures as assigned

    • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner

    • Educate patients and family members regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and postoperative care

    • Promote infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives

    Qualifications

    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

    • Previous operating room or perioperative nursing experience preferred

    • Experience supporting multiple surgical specialties preferred

    • Strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
