OpenShift Engineer

This role includes administering multiple OpenShift clusters, supporting application migrations, and assisting project teams with containerization and modernization efforts. The OpenShift Engineer will be responsible for engineering, support, automation, and providing thought leadership for Platform-as-a-Service offerings.

The OpenShift Engineer will be responsible for engineering, support, automation, and providing thought leadership for Platform-as-a-Service offerings. This role includes administering multiple OpenShift clusters, supporting application migrations, and assisting project teams with containerization and modernization efforts.

  Experience migrating and refactoring applications to containerized workloads

  Hands-on experience with automated deployment tools
  
• 
  Strong understanding of DevOps concepts, tools, and practices
  
• 
  CI/CD experience with GitLab (or similar tools)
  
• 
  Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  
• 
  Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly in written, oral, and digital formats
  
• 
  Working knowledge of networking (protocols, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)

  Commitment to documenting processes, sharing knowledge, and mentoring teammates
  

Preferred Skills:

  Experience with SSL certificates
