The University of New Mexico is seeking faculty at the Open Rank level in the Open Track to join the
Department of Dental Medicine, Division of Dental Services. The Department of Dental Medicine has a
primary mission of delivering education and a full spectrum of clinical care.
The Department of Dental Medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in
Albuquerque is looking for a full-time General Dentist to provide and oversee direct dental diagnosis,
treatment, procedures, and care in a public health setting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable
providing general dentistry for adults and children. The dentist should have current experience with
general dentistry including routine and uncomplicated surgical extractions. In addition, the ideal candidate
will have experience working with and supervising dental residents. This is a open track open rank
position which affords applicants the opportunity to enter as an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor and
educator who is primarily engaged in clinical care with residents. The successful applicant will join an
interdisciplinary team of faculty providing the delivery of education, surgical services, clinical care, and
research.
