ONSITE SAFETY COORDINATOR

Type of Work:

Magnum Electric is seeking qualified safety professional who is familiar with project-based safety role for work in Ellendale, ND.

The ideal individual is someone with prior experience in safety management in the construction sector. If you are motivated, organized, detail oriented, and driven to succeed we would like to have a conversation with you!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
• Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, including incident rates, trends, and recommendations for improvement
• Provide employees with safety related information such as training sessions, emergency protocols, and proper use of safety equipment
• Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in safety management
• Manage workers' compensation claims and maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, training, inspections, and corrective actions

General Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presenting findings
• Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using computer software applications related to safety management
