Onsite Endoscopic Specialist

Reporting to the Region Manager of Onsite Service, this role provides on-site, hands-on client support of KARL STORZ medical devices (including hand instruments and video equipment) for assigned clients (hospitals or surgery centers). The role primarily involves working with clients\ Sterile Processing Departments and Operating Room teams. OES positions often serve as a pathway to internal career advancement in Sales, Marketing, Leadership, and other areas.

• Provide face-to-face client support across Operating Room, Sterile Processing Department, and Biomed teams
• Perform daily maintenance and management of client\s KARL STORZ devices
• Maintain instrument sets in excellent working order and ready for use
• Keep repairs and replacement equipment expenses within a predetermined budget
• Perform preventative maintenance on all KARL STORZ devices
• Troubleshoot video and instrument issues in the Operating Room
• Inspect instruments and document their functionality
• Train and educate OR/SPD staff on KARL STORZ devices and/or services
• Identify process improvement opportunities and design workflows to improve efficiencies and reduce repair costs
• Set up and support KARL STORZ video tower/systems
• Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, and replace KARL STORZ devices
• Monitor, report, and facilitate repair/exchange transactions
• Transport, clean/sterilize, and package KARL STORZ instruments after use

• Endoscopy/surgical medical device experience
• Experience supporting Operating Rooms (OR) and Sterile Processing (SPD)
• Hands-on experience with endoscopic instruments and video equipment
• Troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and maintenance of medical/surgical equipment
• Experience with KARL STORZ equipment - highly preferred
• Ideal backgrounds: Endoscopy Technician, Surgical Equipment Specialist, Biomedical Equipment Technician, Medical Device Field Service Technician, or similar healthcare equipment roles
