IDR is seeking a Onsite Endoscopic Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Chattanooga, TN. This role is focused on providing on-site technical support and maintenance for advanced medical devices in a hospital setting. The organization is a leader in medical equipment services, dedicated to enhancing surgical and patient care through innovative solutions.
Position Overview for the Onsite Endoscopic Specialist:
- Provide face-to-face support to clinical staff in operating rooms, sterile processing, and biomedical departments.
- Perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and management of KARL STORZ devices, including video equipment and hand instruments.
- Ensure instruments and devices are in perfect working condition, documenting their functionality and managing repair and replacement needs.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on device operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
- Identify workflow improvements to increase efficiency and reduce repair costs, supporting operational excellence.
Requirements for the Onsite Endoscopic Specialist:
- Experience with medical device support or technical repair in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of endoscopic and surgical instruments, specifically KARL STORZ devices.
- Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills for complex medical equipment.
- Excellent communication and training abilities to educate clinical staff.
- Ability to work onsite Monday Friday, 7:30 am 4 pm, in a hospital environment.
