Onsite Electrical Data Center Manager to join a thriving company supporting large-scale construction projects. The
Onsite Electrical Data Center Manager will be responsible for leading onsite electrical and low-voltage construction activities, managing field execution, and ensuring projects meet schedule, productivity, quality, and safety expectations.

Pay Rate: $125,0000-$145,600/year ($60 $70/hour) plus per diem

Onsite Electrical Data Center Manager Responsibilities:- Lead onsite electrical and low-voltage construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
- Coordinate field supervision, craft personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and other project resources.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, cable schedules, equipment schedules, and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain short-term installation plans, Client forecasts, material requirements, and project schedules.
- Monitor field progress, labor hours, productivity, production goals, and overall percent complete.
- Identify labor or productivity issues and implement corrective action to maintain project performance.
- Coordinate electrical installation activities with general contractors, owners, engineers, commissioning teams, vendors, and other trades.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, field changes, scope clarifications, and change-order documentation.
- Identify out-of-scope work and ensure additional work is properly documented.
- Coordinate procurement, delivery, and material readiness for electrical and controls installations.
- Ensure field installations meet drawings, specifications, electrical codes, project standards, and quality requirements.
- Oversee cable installation, termination, testing, labeling, controls verification, startup, and commissioning activities.
- Manage punch-list completion, turnover documentation, and project closeout.
- Provide regular updates regarding Client, productivity, schedule, materials, project risks, and forecasted completion.
- Maintain strong safety and quality standards throughout project execution.
Onsite Electrical Data Center Manager Skills and Abilities:- Strong knowledge of electrical construction and field installation practices.
- Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical, controls, instrumentation, and related systems.
- Experience with electrical monitoring, building controls, equipment controls, communications, or similar systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, equipment schedules, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction sequencing and Client planning.
- Ability to manage labor productivity, schedules, budgets, materials, subcontractors, and changing project requirements.
- Working knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change management, QA/QC, commissioning, and project turnover.
- Strong field leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple contractors, trades, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, schedule-driven construction environment.
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality.
Onsite Electrical Data Center Manager Education and Experience:- 10+ years of electrical construction management or field leadership experience preferred.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager, Site Manager, Construction Manager, Superintendent, or similar field leadership professional.
- Data center or other mission-critical construction experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing low-voltage electrical, controls, instrumentation, or related scopes.
- Experience managing large electrical field teams and subcontractors preferred.
- Experience tracking Client, labor productivity, schedules, and project performance.
- Experience supporting testing, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout.
- Electrical field background strongly preferred.
- Experience on large, complex, schedule-driven construction projects is highly desirable.
