We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Printer Support Technician to provide onsite technical support within a healthcare environment. This entry-level position is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of printer and imaging equipment while ensuring timely and professional customer service.
Respond to onsite service requests, dispatches, and escalations in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, and install printer and imaging equipment.
Perform Standard and Proactive Consumable Management (PCM) system updates.
Maintain accurate asset tracking, reporting, billing, and system records.
Manage inventory of hot-swap devices, printer supplies, and consumables to minimize customer downtime.
Provide timely updates on service tickets and equipment status.
Maintain accurate documentation of completed service activities.
Deliver professional, customer-focused support in a healthcare environment.
High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
Entry-level experience with printers, hard-copy devices, imaging equipment, or related technical equipment preferred.
Basic understanding of electro-mechanical systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Familiarity with service ticketing or business systems such as ServiceNow and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot technical and equipment-related issues.
Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate has strong customer service and communication skills with a positive, solutions-oriented approach. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in an onsite healthcare environment, managing service requests, troubleshooting equipment, and interacting professionally with customers and staff.
