Join us as the on-the-ground force who turns plans into places. In partnership with a proven contractor, we’re hiring an Onsite Construction Operations Lead in Chicago, IL to steer commercial projects—mixed-use, industrial, retail, and multi-unit—from first stake to final punch.

Imagine this scenario

A delivery truck arrives early with critical materials. An RFI answer prompts a detail change. An inspection is slated for noon. You realign crews, update the look-ahead, brief stakeholders, and keep the build moving—safely, on schedule, and within budget. That’s your craft.

How you create impact

• Run daily site operations and orchestrate subcontractors and vendors
• Lead safety from the front and adhere to all regulatory standards
• Read drawings and schedules to sequence work against milestones
• Partner with design teams, inspectors, and owners to resolve field issues
• Track progress, maintain thorough site logs, and communicate updates
• Verify quality at each phase to meet or exceed specifications
• Motivate crews, remove roadblocks, and sustain jobsite momentum
• Hit deadlines and budget goals through disciplined planning and follow-through

What equips you

• Extensive commercial field experience with multiple years supervising crews
• Expertise in means/methods, sequencing, and site operations
• Knowledge of local permitting and inspection processes
• Leadership presence with strong coordination skills across many trades
• Clear communication and decisive problem-solving
• Comfort with construction management platforms and digital reporting
• Safety certifications a plus
