Role Summary

As a State Lead Specialist, you will focus on data collection, entry, education, surveillance support, and coordination. Your efforts will help local health departments actively manage cases, providing essential support to families in need.

Key Responsibilities

• Support state case managers on non-confirmed cases and ensure proper case management.
• Audit and provide recommendations for non-confirmed cases.
• Enter and monitor lead results reported to the State.
• Investigate reporting issues and questionable entries in IDOH systems.
• Participate in quarterly testing report reviews with case managers.
• Manage case management queues, including document review and closure.
• Track required fields for confirmed cases and coordinate with staff.
• Provide backup support for daily processes, including system approvals and result entry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and webinar/conference call technology.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to track progress across multiple counties.

Preferences

• Working knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations relating to lead and healthy homes (specifically 410 IAC 29).
