One Year Position: Garfield Elementary School Paraprofessional (Pre-K Early Childhood)

The Revere Public Schools is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to work at the Garfield Elementary School in their small learning group Pre-K Early Childhood setting. Given the children''s young age, diapering and toileting could/would be a part of the para''s daily responsibility. This paraprofessional will be scheduled for 3 hours and 55 minutes per day (19.5 hours per week) per our 185.5 day school year calendar. The shift hours are 8:00 a.m. to 11:55 p.m. Minimum Age 18 years Commitment to fostering a safe, welcoming, respectful and productive learning environment for all students Must meet one of the following requirements:

• Associate''s degree or higher
• Minimum 48 post-secondary credits
• Successful completion ParaPro Assessment (minimum score of 464)
