    Orlando Health is seeking RNs to work at our new Lakeland Highlands Hospital.

     

    Schedule:

    • Night openings

    Shifts:

    • 3 (12 hr shifts) with 4 weekend days/month
    • Weekend option available as well

    Responsibilities:

    •Respectsdiversitybybuilding respectfulrelationshipswithallteammembersandcustomers.
    •Functionsasapatientandfamilyadvocate.
    •Demonstratesknowledgeand skillsnecessarytoprovidecareappropriatetotheageofthepatientsservedonhisorherassigned unit/department.
    •Servesasapreceptor,chargenurse,uniteducator,and/ ornurseclinician.
    •Communicatesandcollaborateswithmedicalstaffandinterdisciplinaryteamtoeffectivelyplanandmanagetheunit/department.
    •Servesasarolemodelforstaffandsupportsthehospital andnursing department’sgoalsandstrategies.
    •Demonstrates knowledgeoftheprinciples ofgrowth and development over thelifespan, assesses thedata reflectiveofthe
    patient’sstatus,andinterpretsthenecessaryinformationneededtoidentify eachpatient’srequirementsrelativetohisorherage-specificneeds.
    •Coordinatesthecareanddelegatesasappropriate toother teammembersonadefinedgroupofpatients.
    •Documentspatientcareinaknowledgeable,skillful,andconsistentmannermeetingallrequiredandregulatorystandards.This includesbutisnotlimitedtopatientassessment, education,medicationadministration,treatments,andpatientsafety.
    •Demonstratescompetencyinnursingskillsanduseofpatientcare/unitequipmentasdefinedbyunit/department-specificrequisite skills.

    Qualifications:

    Education/Training
    • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
    • Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirementsfor Orlando Health and unit/department.

     

    Licensure/Certification
    • Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
    • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
    • ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.


    Experience
    • minimum of 1 year inpatient RN experience required
