What Youll Do
- Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients receiving surgical oncology and progressive care services.
- Care for patients with breast, thyroid, melanoma, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and reconstructive oncology conditions.
- Administer chemotherapy, IV antibiotics, blood transfusions, insulin drips, and heparin drips within scope of practice.
- Monitor patients for oncologic emergencies and cytokine release syndrome.
- Apply infection prevention and fall prevention protocols.
- Document patient care using Epic electronic health records.
- Float within your scope of practice as needed to support patient care and unit operations.
What You Need
Required- Current Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- At least 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- At least 1 year of progressive care experience
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and support variable scheduling needs
Preferred- ONS Chemotherapy certification
