Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Summary:

• Position will assist in Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology
• Responsible for providing direct and indirect physical, psychosocial and spiritual care for patients with cancer and other related disease processes

Requirements:

• Active IA RN licence, LPN, or Certified Medical Assistant at minimum
• Based on license or certification - Oncology Certification (OCN) is preferred but not mandatory. Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certification required prior to completion of orientation/chemo administration.

Schedule:

• PRN
• M-F; 7:30a-5p
• The schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department
